What inspired you to join the Evaluation Lab?
Knowing that the Evaluation lab looks to advance the social justice missions of diverse communities was all the encouragement I needed to apply. This not only aligns with my personal views but is something I want to be a part of to help make a change.
How does your work with the Lab support your career goals?
Though my career is in computer science, so not data collection or social justice related, I still carry that passion with me. Through computer science, I can work to create platforms and applications that would aid in the search or educate the general population about the disadvantages of marginalized communities. The work I do in the Lab will help prepare me for this with glimpses into what the work would look like.
