I’m an educator and evaluator with a strong foundation in culturally responsive research and evaluation, shaped by seven years as a K–12 physical and health education teacher. That classroom experience grounds my commitment to evaluation that is educative and reflects the real-world needs of diverse communities. I hold a Ph.D. in Educational Research Methodology with a focus on program evaluation, and an MBA. My work centers culturally responsive and equity-focused approaches that honor community knowledge and context. I help organizations use evaluation as a tool for learning and change. I’ve led and supported evaluation and capacity-building initiatives at the local, regional, and national levels, with a focus on improving practice, advancing equity, and broadening participation in STEM. I also teach courses on evaluation and assessment in the physical education classroom and conduct research on the experiences of evaluators both in practice and in the classroom.
