Sarah Hassle

Sarah Hassle (they/them) graduated from Kalamazoo College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. During their undergraduate studies, they spent a year abroad in China, studying at Beijing Normal University and Harbin University of Science and Technology, an experience that solidified their passion for international education.

 

After graduation, Sarah earned a Master of Education from the University of Michigan and spent four years teaching middle and high school students in both Michigan and abroad. Their experience as an educator strengthened their commitment to supporting students as they navigate cross-cultural learning experiences.

 

In 2022, Sarah joined Kansas State University as an Education Abroad Advisor, where they advised students on a wide range of international education opportunities and collaborated with campus partners to expand access to education abroad for all students.

 

Outside of work, Sarah can often be found enjoying life's quieter moments. They love getting lost in a good book with their cats and a mug of tea in hand or gathering friends for board game nights. They also enjoy the outdoors and finding new hiking trails, campsites, or swimming holes.
