Eden Latham

A Grand Rapids native but a long-time Bronco, Eden Latham graduated from WMU with her B.A. in Global and International Studies in 2023 and is now pursuing her Master’s degree in International Development Administration.

During her time as an undergraduate, Eden participated in the WMU Global Engagement Program and five international education experiences: a semester-long program at the Umbra Institute in Perugia, Italy, and faculty-led programs to The Dominican Republic, Portugal, Singapore, and Iceland. In the Spring of 2022, Eden also participated in an internship program in Washington D.C. where she worked with the non-profit We-Empower Inc. and took Global Affairs courses at George Mason University. On campus, she worked at the Office for Sustainability as the Climate Change Communication Specialist.

After graduation, she began working at WMU as a Global Learning Specialist on the Global Learning team at the Haenicke Institute for Global Education, overseeing the day to day coordination of the Global Engagement Program.

In her personal life, Eden is an avid traveler, and hopes to see 30 countries by age 30. She looks forward to continuing her career in Global Affairs and inspiring others to engage in culturally immersive experiences. She also loves thrift shopping, painting, and a nice glass of wine.
