Aspiring aviator’s dreams take flight at WMU’s College of Aviation through Make-A-Wish
“This is the best day ever!” said 13-year-old Vail Fear as he wrapped up an immersive tour of Western Michigan University’s College of Aviation. In a collaboration with Make-A-Wish Illinois, the aspiring aviator had a chance to get into the cockpits of multiple aircrafts, test out state-of-the-art 737 MAX and Cirrus TRAC20 G7 simulators, and check out plane engines in technical operations laboratories.
