Nursing care starts with the whole person
The Bronson School of Nursing offers a pre-licensure BSN for new students and an RN-to-BSN track for licensed nurses ready to advance. Through simulation, hands-on clinical rotations and interprofessional learning with other College of Health and Human Services programs, you will build skills in clinical judgment, patient assessment and teamwork. Pre-licensure graduates are ready to sit for the NCLEX-RN and begin careers in hospitals, community health and specialized fields.
Our pre-licensure degree is one of only a few endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation, giving you a unique perspective on the whole patient.

Pre-licensure BSN
Designed for new students, this holistically endorsed program combines simulation and clinical rotations to prepare you to sit for the NCLEX-RN and begin your nursing career.
RN to BSN
This accredited online program lets licensed nurses complete their BSN in 12 or 24 months with just 30 credits and one clinical in their own community.

The WMU Bronson School of Nursing pre-licensure BSN and RN-BSN programs are proud to be Holistically Endorsed since 2001. Our nursing program is one of nine departments within the College of Health and Human Services that share a common emphasis on holistic practice education. The mission and philosophy of the college and University support and are congruent with our holistic-centered curriculum.
Your gift will support:
- Student scholarships to pay for holistic test certification fees
- Faculty membership dues for AHNA (American Holistic Nurses Association)
- Holistic test certification fee and attendance at conferences to maintain holistic certification
- Costs associated with holistic modality presentations (i.e. invited speaker/presenter fee, food, parking, venue, and set-up/take down of venue)
- Costs associated with offering continuing education (CE) programs (i.e. nurse planner fee, presenter fee, student scholarship to cover CE fee, food, parking, venue fee, set-up/take down of venue)
