OSE Biennial Survey: Win Prizes!
The Office of Student Engagement is inviting students to complete the OSE Biennial Student Engagement Survey starting today. The survey is open from January 26 through February 16. Your responses help us understand what is working, what is not, and where we should focus our time and resources to improve the student experience.
What we are hoping to learn
This survey focuses on how students experience involvement at WMU and what influences engagement. We are asking about:
Familiarity and perceptions of campus involvement areas and student organizations, including Campus Activities Board, Golden Bronco Awards, the Office of Student Engagement, the Student Assessment Fee, Western Herald, Western Student Association, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and WIDR.
How students hear about events and opportunities.
- Registered Student Organization involvement, including belonging, motivations for joining, skill development, and barriers to participation.
- Context that shapes involvement, such as work hours, first-generation status, housing, commuting, and open-ended feedback on what students want to see next.
Prizes and drawing details
Students who complete the survey can opt into the prize drawing. Prize winners will be drawn on February 17 from completed surveys. Prizes include:
