This event gives you the opportunity to connect with student organizations, departments and centers in a fun, informal atmosphere. Whether you are seeking an organization that aligns with your interests or intended major, are looking to study abroad or need more information about the required courses for your major, you will find it at Business Bash.

Join us to learn what to do at a career fair and how to achieve your career fair goals; discussions surrounding topics related to job or internship searching and personal branding will be encouraged.

Please join us and enjoy presentations from respected leaders in our community. We will facilitate discussions and you will have time to connect with our speakers and other students and employers attending this event. This is always a student favorite and we encourage you to attend!

Light refreshments will be served and the presentation will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m.

DigitalWMU is co-sponsored by WMU’s Digital Marketing program and Advertising program together with the Zhang Career Center.

All students are invited to participate. The focus of the event will be Great Lakes businesses, agencies, and organizations from Chicago to Detroit hiring in areas of digital marketing and media, advertising, customer experience, and analytics.

Teamwork, communication, critical thinking, problem solving ... Do you have what it takes to escape? Each semester, the SPuRS program and the Zhang Career Center stage an escape room event. This themed room will test you and your classmates as you work to find clues, solve puzzles and more!

Do you have an internship coming up in Spring, Summer or Fall? Are you ready for it? 

This event will prepare you for your internship by detailing how you can stand out as an intern and build your career! Hear what employers want you to know before starting your internship and make a fantastic first impression on your new supervisor!

Note: This event aims to prepare students for their upcoming internships. We will not be discussing how to obtain an internship. Please only RSVP if you have secured an internship for this upcoming spring or summer. 

Major Insights is geared to first year and transfer students who are undecided on a business major. The program consists of three, 2-hour hands-on sessions on three consecutive afternoons. The goal is to provide information that can help you select a major! Completion of all three sessions earns two Foundational Level SPuRS credits! Students must participate in all three sessions of this program to be eligible for the two SPuRS credits (1 Foundational Level - Personal and Interpersonal Knowledge and 1 Foundational Level - Professional Insight).

Major Match-Up is an event for all students wishing to explore Haworth College of Business majors. A student could explore two majors each evening with senior-level students who are knowledgeable and engaged with their programs. Students will learn what it takes to be successful in the major, what the coursework is like, who the faculty are, which employers come to campus to hire students for internships or full-time positions in this major, which organizations are aligned with the major, which events are best to attend and have any other questions answered. This is a peer-to-peer event, designed to provide information to first- and second-year students who are exploring options in order to select a major.

Resume Revamp provides business students an opportunity to drop off their resumes for critiques and suggestions for improvement.
