Summer 2026

Grad Student Meetup | Outdoor Sand Volleyball 
Friday, July 31, from 3 to 5pm
WMU Student Recreation Center
 
Enjoy an afternoon of outdoor sand volleyball and Crossnet with fellow graduate students. This is a fun, active way to meet students from across campus, and all skill levels are welcome! Complimentary food and water will be provided (we encourage you to bring a refillable water bottle, too)! In the event of rain or extreme heat, we'll move volleyball indoors.
 
  • Who: Current WMU graduate students
  • What: Free sand volleyball, Crossnet, and food
  • Where: Check-in at the main information desk of the WMU Student Recreation Center (SRC), then head to the outdoor sand volleyball courts. If weather requires us to move indoors, staff will direct you downstairs to the indoor courts.
  • When: Friday, July 31, 3 to 5pm
  • What to bring: Your WMU student ID for free entry, comfortable athletic clothing, sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle.

Fall 2026

WMU Employee Graduate Education Information Session (in-person, for WMU employees only)

WMU employees receive excellent benefits from the University and are encouraged to pursue educational opportunities. Sign up for an in-person informational session hosted by the WMU Graduate College to learn more about graduate program options, including application deadlines and requirements. Sessions will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Graduate College (West Walwood Hall, East Campus, parking lot #1). If there is no registration, the session will be canceled that month, so be sure to register in advance!
