What we do
With members from across campus, we:
- Advocate for salaried/exempt staff.
- Foster collaboration across campus.
- Support professional growth.
- Recognize staff achievements.
- Award scholarships to selected PSAW members' dependents attending WMU.
- Promote communication and engagement.
Our history
In May 2024, the membership of the Administrative Professional Association approved a constitutional amendment to change our name to the Professional Staff Association of Western (PSAW). Our new name brings clarity of purpose for new members and better reflects our organization's direction and strategic focus. Today, PSAW continues to advocate for professional staff while creating opportunities for connection, leadership and recognition across the University.
