Come out and try the game of Pickleball
Pickleball is a fun, fast-paced game that is sweeping the country. The game is played with a wooden or composite paddle, a perforated plastic ball similar to a whiffle ball, and a pickleball net system, like a tennis net, but smaller. The game is a paddle sport that all ages can learn to play. It combines the elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong and is an easy game to learn. Tennis players learn it quickly since some of the same strokes are used. Players enjoy the competitive and social aspects of the game, along with a great cardio workout.

West Hills is thrilled to begin incorporating DUPR events into our pickleball offerings. We are excited to host tournaments, leagues, and group play that utilize the DUPR rating system to ensure balanced and enjoyable games. Additionally, we will continue to offer our current programs, maintaining the spirit of social pickleball.

Activities
Fall Mini Tournament Kickoff Sept. 6–7
Registration is Open!
Registration deadline is Sept. 2
This will be our first tournament at the brand new Latitude 42 Pickleball Complex at West Hills Athletic Club. We have 13 indoor, dedicated, tournament-sized courts. Our tournament ball is the Franklin X-40.
Men's and Women's divisions (3.0/3.5/4.0+, Ages 18+) will be played on Saturday, Sept. 6, and Mixed Doubles divisions (3.0/3.5/4.0/4.5, Ages 18+) will be played on Sunday, Sept. 7
The tournament director reserves the right to combine skill levels depending on the number of registrations. Every effort will be made to avoid combining skill levels.
You are limited to two events (men's or women's doubles and mixed).
- First event fee is $30
- The second event fee is $15.
Swish Tournaments will charge a non-refundable $5 fee for each event.
Registration
- You will register and pay for both players on your team.
- You will need to know your partner's DUPR ID and email address to complete the entry. When you enter their DUPR ID, their name and DUPR rating will auto-fill.
- If you are entering a 2nd event: After you have completed and paid for your first event, you can then register for your 2nd event and pay for that. When you enter your information for your 2nd event, the website will recognize you as a repeat customer and will then display the discounted 2nd event fee of $15.
Scores will be uploaded to DUPR following the tournament.
