The workhorse of the College of Aviation’s flight fleet is the Cirrus TRAC20 G7 (SR20 G7). The TRAC Series is built for flight training, enhancing the Bronco experience.

With 32 of these aircraft, the WMU’s College of Aviation possesses one of the largest fleets of Cirrus in the world, and was the first fleet customer for the Generation 7. The TRAC20 G7 is an advanced, high-performance aircraft constructed primarily of composite materials and designed to be aerodynamically efficient. 

The SR20 is FAA certified for day, night, VFR, and IFR flight.

All 32 of the College of Aviation’s Cirrus aircraft are equipped with the most advanced avionics package available in general aviation. The PFD and MFD can simultaneously provide up to three separate windows - including checklists, moving maps, enhanced airport diagrams, traffic and weather.
