About
Cessna 172R manufactured in 1998. This aircraft is used for aviation maintenance training. It was originally used for flight training in the College of Aviation. The College switched to Cirrus aircraft for training and sold the Cessna 172 fleet except for this aircraft. It was retired from flight and put into the maintenance training program. It is powered by a Lycoming IO-360 engine and is IFR equipped. It is used for maintenance training for many courses within the program and had proved to be an excellent training aid.
